The Met Office provides smarter and faster weather services with mainframe upgrade delivered by Computacenter and IBM.
The Met Office’s mainframe environment supports the delivery of millions of daily forecasts to individuals and organisations around the world. To meet increased demand for weather intelligence and to support the deployment of a new supercomputer, the Met Office needed to embark on a mainframe upgrade.

With greater compute power and capacity, we'll be able to deliver better forecasts and advice.
